Tension

Tension was originally intended for a collaboration project, but it ended up being an experiment approaching a more classical sound. The meaning behind this slow rolling instrumental is a play on words, a tense situation demands we put some restrain on ourselves, a string based instrument requires tension to function. I see some similarities between us and the instruments we use. Synths used are: Piano, Koto, Harp, Bass guitar, Organ, Timpani. The melody is intended to give a sense of restraint, hope, the desire to solve a tense and difficult situation. To let everyone involved get out of it with dignity and mutual respect for eachother.
